Come to Downtown Midland to remember our heroes and enjoy the Memorial Day parade, beginning at 10:00 AM. Start your day with a breakfast at a Downtown eatery and after the parade enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of our many restaurants. Shop, dine and play in Downtown Midland.

Downtown Midland’s Summer Concert Series Kicks Off June 6

Families will want to bring their blankets and lawn chairs and spend their Thursday evenings listening to great music near the Tridge in Downtown Midland. This 10-week concert series is FREE and presented through the cooperation of the Downtown Development Authority, Midland Parks and Recreation Department, local businesses and radio stations. The bands will play from 7-9 pm (except the 4th of July date has two bands and two times!).

Join SOS Animal Rescue and the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Department as we bring together canines and their humans for a chance to socialize and have fun. Meet at the dog park in Chippewassee Park on the second and fourth Wednesdays in June, July, and August from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.
Summer 2013 Dates
- June 12 ~ Meet and Greet!
- June 26 ~ Pupcakes in the Park, Free pupcakes for dogs (while supplies last).
- July 10 ~ Volunteer opportunities for you and your pet.
- July 24 ~ Frosty Paws for all dogs, free cool treats for dogs (while supplies last).
- August 14 ~ The Great Costume Give-away, free pet costumes given away (while supplies last).
- August 28 ~ Doggy Olympics, fun, games and prizes for everyone!
In addition to the above themes, free prizes will be given away at the end of each evening. So bring your dog(s) and be prepared to have a doggone good time!
