We managed to move twice in the last three years without closing the Gallery for even one day. However, now that we are in our beautiful new venue, we have decided to close it between July 1 and 21, 2017, at the time during which the heaviest road construction machinery will be operating in our area. Vibrations may cause our precious items (glass, pottery, paintings, jewelry) to fall off the shelves and walls they are displayed at. We have to take them all down (at present we have taken down our glass window shelves and items placed on them, and anchored everything on flat surfaces with museum putty and tape), pack them and place them on the floor. We just cannot take the chances and be responsible for the breakage of the work our artists have diligently and passionately created.
The Gallery is thrilled to reopen its doors with fresh art and displays once the beautiful new streetscape begins to take shape, which, in our very informed estimate will happen towards the end of July.
We apologize for the inconvenience we know this will cause. If there is anything we can do for you in the meantime, please leave us an e-mail or voice message and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Have a great summer!
