Tapped ~ Downtown Midland’s Craft Beer Festival
Tapped – Downtown Midland’s Craft Beer Festival presented by Ace Hardware & Sports. The event is scheduled for June 20th in Downtown Midland and will feature a Craft Beer Tent, Makers Market featuring artisans from Midland and around the state, live music, and tap takeovers at various Downtown Midland venues in the evening. “Tapped is a great complement to the many events offered in Downtown Midland” said Selina Tisdale, Downtown Midland Executive Director. “This exciting new event blends the enthusiasm of tasting a new craft beer along with outdoor music and a street art fair. It just doesn’t get much better than that.”
The Makers Market, tap takeovers, and live music stage will be open to the public while the Craft Beer Tent will be ticketed.
“Sharon and I are happy to have the opportunity to participate in showcasing Michigan craft beer and all that Downtown Midland has to offer,” said Richard Caldwell, who owns Whichcraft Taproom in Downtown Midland alongside his wife, Sharon. He added, “I believe that the local things here are really something special.”
The Makers Market will be open on Main Street from 11am to 4pm and will feature both Downtown Midland businesses and artisans from across Michigan. Tapped Artist Reg Form 15
The Craft Beer Tent will be open from 2 to 6pm and will feature several breweries from across Michigan.
Tickets are now available and include: Six (6) beer sample tickets and a commemorative tasting glass. Additional sample tickets can be purchased on the day of the event at a cost of $5/3 tickets.

At 6pm, tap takeovers will take place in Downtown Midland restaurants and bars including WhichCraft Taproom, Diamond Jim’s, the H Hotel, and more. During the tap takeovers, each establishment will feature a specific brewery throughout the evening.
